Vincent Russell
As the Director of Industry and Labour Services (ILS) at WorkSafeBC, Vincent Russell leads the department that helps industries become self-sufficient in creating safe workplaces. His role requires him to provide direction to the managers and industry specialists in ILS and equip them with the necessary tools to be successful in their roles.
Prior to his current position, Vincent has had several roles at WorkSafeBC. For fifteen years, he worked as a vocational rehabilitation consultant before moving in to Case Management, where he helped develop and deliver case-management training. He then became a Client Services Manager and acted as the lead on several strategic pilots, including developing the Account Management Program and reshaping the way WorkSafeBC aligns itself with various industries.
Outside the office, Vincent enjoys fly fishing, solo camping and backpacking, coaching and participating in dragon boating, and playing volleyball and tennis.
