Dr. Lee Glass

Dr. Lee GlassLee Glass, M.D., is associate medical director for Washington's Department of Labor and Industries, the state's workers' compensation carrier.

He is the immediate past chair of the Coding and Classification Committee of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and a member of that college's Council on Occupational and Environmental Medical Practice. For five years Dr. Glass chaired the college's Practice Guidelines Committee that produces guidelines for doctors to use in the treatment of injured workers. Dr. Glass was editor of the second edition of the college's Occupational Medicine Practice Guidelines.

His daily work involves working closely with attending providers to help resolve complex treatment issues, and working with claim managers, attorneys, injured workers, physicians and employers to minimize conflicts in workers' compensation matters.
