Dr. Karim Khan
Professor Karim Khan, MD, PhD, FACSP, DipSportMed (CASM), is a clinician and researcher who has contributed substantially to our understanding of repetitive work-related tendon injuries.
He is a principal investigator in the Centre for Hip Health and Mobility, a UBC and VGH research centre. Dr. Khan’s international reputation includes being a member of leadership workshops in tendinopathy management, bone health, and falls prevention.
As well as his over 200 peer-reviewed publications, he is the co-author of what has been described as the gold-standard textbook for many disciplines relating to musculoskeletal health. Now in its third edition, this book, Clinical Sports Medicine, is used as a text in musculoskeletal medicine the world over, and it has been translated to several languages.
